The Appleton East Youth Wrestling Club was formed in 2006 by a group of parents interested in offering a program to children who might someday attend East High School. A board was designated and officers elected. After meeting many weekday evenings, hashing out the details of what needed to be accomplished, the AEYWC became a reality. The inaugural year began with the first night of practice on January 3, 2007.
The AEYWC is a registered 501(c)-3 nonprofit corporation in the State of Wisconsin.
